Mindi Barta (she/her) brings over a decade of clinical experience to her roles as a Licensed Professional Counselor, educator, and researcher. Mindi is a PhD Candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at Oregon State University, where her work focuses on wellness, first responders, threat assessment, ethics, AI, and corpus linguistic methodology. As founder of MJB Counseling and Consulting, she provides specialized trauma treatment incorporating EMDR and neurofeedback approaches. Her expertise extends to clinical supervision, where she guides the next generation of counselors while maintaining active involvement in community mental health initiatives. Mindi's commitment to accessible mental health care is evidenced through her work with various community organizations, including the Lane County Stabilization Center and veteran advocacy programs. She also spent time at Fire Camps in Eastern Oregon this summer supporting wildland firefighter wellness.
